We seek to advance the knowledge of groundwater resources in Illinois and function exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We have biannual meetings, which provide informative and timely discussions of groundwater issues, and we are widely known for our student grants program, which has given over $18,000 to Illinois undergraduate and graduate students.
Anyone interested in the groundwater resources of Illinois can join. Our membership includes consulting engineers, geologists and other professionals; faculty and students from colleges and universities; the public; people from federal, state, county, and municipal agencies and organizations; and people from drilling companies and other industries.
